ABS Plus is for drain, waste and vent purposes only. It is lightweight, has a PVC core. ASTM F 628 specification covers coextruded ABS plastic drain, waste and vent pipe made to schedule 40 iron pipe size (IPS). ASTM D 2661 specification covers fittings and single extruded (solid wall) (ABS) plastic drain, waste and vent pipe made to schedule 40 iron pipe sizes.
