Extra resins and binders toughen the surface of the wrap, extending its life by shielding it from friction and sealing pores against harmful liquids. With Thermo-Tec Exhaust Wrap, the coating can withstand direct and continuous heat of up to 2000˚F. It also works as a paint for metal surfaces, handling continuous temperatures of up to 1200˚F.
